Welcome to Kreisberufsschulzentrum Ellwangen,
host to the Grand Prix Chimique 2009
Situated on the outskirts of the beautiful and picturesque town of Ellwangen and lying near the pilgrimage church and convent “Schönenberg”, the state school provides secondary and tertiary education for about 2000 students.
As a secondary school we offer two-year courses for secondary school leaving certificates. In addition students can enrol in one-, two-, or three-year courses for the higher education entrance qualification.
The main focus of our school, however, is on tertiary training with 32 job profiles to choose from, in our departments of technology, commerce, domestic science, care and health, and natural sciences.
The department of natural sciences is proud to offer its facilities to the competitors of the 10th Grand Prix Chimique. We train laboratory technicians who specialise in the following sectors: chemistry, environment, and pharmacy.
